Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn’s upcoming expansion, Heavensward, will require a minimum of 50GB PS4 hard drive space, Square Enix has announced.
The publisher confirmed that the PS3 release will require 20GB of space on your last-gen console’s hard drive to install the expansion. As such, those of you with a 20GB PS3 will need to upgrade their console.
Heavensward itself will ship in three different versions. First up is the Collector’s Edition, which will retail for $129.99($59.99 for the digital version), while the Final Fantasy XIV Online Edition, which includes the base game, expansion, and 30 days of play time, will cost $59.99 for the retail and digital versions.
Finally, there’s the standalone expansion release for Heavensward, which will set you back $39.99 for either the physical or digital version.
Those of you who pre-order any of the three versions of the game will receive Cecil’s (of Final Fantasy IV fame) Baron Circlet and Earrings, plus a Chocobo Chick Courier.
Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward is scheduled for release in June for PS4, PS3, and PC. Find out more details here.
