The playable demo of Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XV will receive an updated re-release next month, the publisher has confirmed.
Speaking in the latest Active Time Report, Final Fantasy XV Game Director, Hajime Tabata, said that Episode Duscae 2.0 will come as a result of feedback on the original demo, which was packaged with the high-definition version of Final Fantasy Type-0 for PS4 and Xbox One.
Improvements include a new targeting and camera system, with Tabata-san also commenting that the development team is hoping to stablise the frame rate in the future.
The updated demo is expected to be ready in mid to late May.
As for a release date for the final version of Final Fantasy XV, well, that still remains a mystery for now. Check out the Active Time Report broadcast below. Check out our review of FF Type-0 HD here. Square Enix recently confirmed that the game had shipped one million copies worldwide.
