Speaking during the latest Time Active Report broadcast, Square Enix’s Hajime Tabata confirmed that the Final Fantasy XV PS4 demo won’t support Sony’s Share Play functionality.
Tabata-san said that the demo, titled Episode Duscae, will block the ability to utilize Share Play. In other words, if you want to experience the demo yourself, you’re going to have to pick up a copy of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD.
Despite this, you can still upload videos and broadcast footage of the game for others to see.
Final Fantasy XV is in development for PS4 and Xbox One, though we still haven’t got any idea when the full game will launch. Type-0 HD is due out in March, with Day-One Edition copies packaged with access to Episode Duscae.
