Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster trailer shows new features and content, gorgeous visuals

Square Enix has released a new trailer highlighting some of the new features packaged in the upcoming Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

Beyond high-definition visuals, newly recorded orchestration, and Trophies, the remastered bundle will feature a myriad of additional content, including extra dresspheres, the Iutycyr Tower dungeon, and the Creature Creator contained in Final Fantasy X-2’s PS2 re-release, Final Fantasy X-2 International + Last Mission.

Meanwhile, Square Enix is striving to deliver the most complete package for Final Fantasy X enthusiasts. This version includes content from the game’s International Edition, including extra bosses in the Dark Aeons and Penance, the Expert Sphere Grid for a different take on character progression, and the ‘Eternal Calm’ epilogue.

A brand-new, 30-minute audio drama, produced exclusively for this collection, will serve as an epilogue to both games, with story revelations on offer for even diehard fans.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster is due out March 18, 2014 for PS3 and PS Vita, so mark your calendars if you have this on your radar.
