Firesprite, the developer behind PlayStation VR2 launch title Horizon Call Of The Mountain is currently hiring for their next title, and according to those job listings it looks like whatever is next will be a “dark, story-driven narrative adventure.”
That’s how job listings on the studios official website describe the next title. Spotted by TheGamer, these listings also go on to say that the next title has “genre defining goals” and is a “highly ambitious project” that “takes atmosphere, storytelling, player agency and narrative firmly into ground-breaking territory on next-generation hardware technologies.”
Firesprite also describes it as a AAA game, but that’s to be expected from a PlayStation Studios title.
Horizon Call Of The Mountain is arguably one of the better titles available on PSVR2, and it’s also one of the only first-party titles on the platform, and one of the only ones that utilizes a major PlayStation IP.
It’ll be interesting to see if this next “dark” title will be another spin on a PlayStation series, or a brand new IP.
