Firewatch, the maiden forest fire-fighting title from newly-formed indie developer Campo Santo, has shattered the team’s sales expectations just two weeks after its launch on Feb 9.
Announced on the team’s official Twitter account, the PS4 console exclusive, which is also available on PC, has performed venerably in the sales department, thanks in no small part to the flurry of critical praise and Let’s Play airtime the game’s received these past two weeks.
And deservedly so.
Firewatch has out-sold our wildest expectations. Campo Santo is going to be around for a while and we can’t wait to make whatever is next.
