The soundtrack to the artful game, Flower, is headed to the PlayStation Network this Thursday at a very affordable price. The eight tracks, which total more than an hour of music, will sell for $2.99 USD.
Flower was released more than a year ago, and has gone on to win several awards for its art and originality. Composer Vincent Diamante says when first creating the music, it was filled with “brawls between themes, lines, instruments, harmonies as the music struggled to find identity when Flower was just this bud of a game.” But, after playing the game more, he was able to meditate on the experience and in doing so; he created the wonderful music behind Flower.
