The former EA Executive Peter Moore, who has spent the last three years as Liverpool Football Club‘s CEO, has announced that he has rejoined the games industry as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Sports & Live Entertainment at Unity.
Moore announced the news on Twitter yesterday and said that he is “delighted to be reunited with so many industry friends as we work on some really cool stuff. More to come…”. Moore has a long history in the games industry switching companies after starting out at SEGA and then moving to Microsoft and then EA.
Little is known about his position or what he will bring to the studio, but it seems like he will be sticking to his love of sports and live entertainment, maybe helping Unity break into the Esports scene, or assisting them in developing engine tools and systems for Esports games.
