Epic Games has announced that the Fortnite Captain America skin is now available to grab. It’s more than just an outfit too, as you’ll also be able to wield the First Avengers’ iconic shield, too.

Players can pick up the Captain America skin for 2,000 V-bucks from the in-game store now, which is roughly $20. As mentioned, you’ll also get Cap’s shield, which can be worn on your character’s back as well as being used as a pick-axe. The weapon appeared last year during a special Avengers-themed event, although it wasn’t available to use freely like it is here.
In addition to the Captain America skin, there’s also a new fireworks emote for sale inspired by the character, which will set you back 300 V-bucks. No doubt it’s been made available to mark Independence Day this weekend.
Epic Games announced earlier this year that Fortnite will be heading to PS5 and Xbox Series X for launch, and next year the game will migrate to the Unreal Engine 5.
