Sky: Children of the Light, the free-to-play adventurer from developer thatgamecompany, is officially heading to PS4 on December 6, 2022.
Sky: Children Of Light is currently available for Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android platforms. We went hands-on with the PS4 version of the game at Tokyo Game Show 2022, so be sure to read our impressions here.
Sky: Children Of Light is entirely free-to-play and also includes Cross-Play functionality, allowing users on mobile platforms to connect with console gamers. The game was well-received at launch, picking up gongs at the SXSW Awards 2020, Game Developers Choice Awards 2020, and The Webby Awards 2020 and 2021.
Sky: Children of the Light takes the form of a open world MMORPG that sees players brushing shoulders with other gamers in a beautifully-animated world, where you can play together and encounter the ‘great wonders’ that Sky has to offer.
You’ll adventure to dark realms, save spirits and unearth ancient treasures in a game that is described as ‘a peaceful social adventure that is set to warm your hearts.’
Sky: Children of the Light is out on December 6 for PS4.
