Free-To-Play Brawler MultiVersus Officially Confirmed For May 28 Launch, Now Uses Unreal Engine 5 For A Host Of Improvements

Player First Games has announced that MultiVersus, its free-to-play brawler featuring various characters from the Warner Bros. universe, will launch on May 28, 2024 following a significant overhaul.

The news was announced in a dedicated video posted to YouTube, which features Tony Hyunh, the game’s director, revealing details about what the team has been up to in preparation for launch. Among the new features is the fact the game has moved to Unreal Engine 5, so it looks a lot prettier, while the net code has been fully built from the ground-up.
