Speaking during its latest earnings report, FromSoftware parent company Kadokawa has revealed that Elden Ring Nightreign exceeded the company’s initial sales expectations, although exact sales figures were not divulged in the report.
That’s not all, though. The company also revealed that DLC is in the works for Eldern Ring Nightreign, which is set to launch around FY2025.
FromSoftware’s ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN has performed well beyond initial expectations. We are aiming for further sales growth for ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN, original ELDEN RING, and its DLC. FromSoftware is currently developing ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN DLC (planned for release in FY2025), ELDEN RING Tarnished Edition (planned for release in 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2), and The Duskbloods (planned for release in 2026).

Billed as a standalone entry set in the Elden Ring universe, Elden Ring: Nightreign is set in the first open-world area of the 2022 fantasy-RPG title, albeit featuring procedurally generated content. Co-op is supported for teams of three players (soon to add duos) to prepare over a period of three in-game days to tackle the boss head-on, although much like battle royale titles, Nightreign has a gradually decreasing gamepaly area that resets after eliminating minor bosses at the end of each day.
