The Coalition has revealed that it is extending the Gears Of War Reloaded Multiplayer Beta with additional maps and modes, following a series of technical hiccups reported by players during the initial beta weekend.
Posting on X, the developer revealed that the next beta period will run from June 20 at 12.00pm PDT — June 22 at 9.00pm PDT, and will include Execution alongside King of the Hill for competitive matches. This includes the maps Gridlock, Raven Down, Courtyard, War Machine, and Canals. Meanwhile, Social Team Death Match features Gridlock, Gold Rush, Raven Down, Courtyard and War Machine maps.

Gears of War Reloaded is a spruced up version of the original 2006 cover-based shooter, and features a wealth of improvements for modern platforms. Among the highlights includes remastered textures, 4K assets, enhanced post-processing visual effects, support for 60 FPS during the campaign and 120 FPS for multiplayer.
The game will launch for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S on August 26, 2025, and is now available to preorder digitally and physically.
