Get your scare on this fall with F.E.A.R. 3

F.E.A.R. 3 is heading to consoles and PC this fall, and with the third installment comes a host of changes. Monolith is no longer in the driver’s seat for development; instead, Day One Studios will be in charge. Day One is the team that brought you games like Fracture and MechAssault.

Warner Bros. Interactive has brought on the director behind movies like Halloween and The Thing, John Carpenter, to consult with the development of the game. 30 Days of Night writer Steve Niles will also work on the game.

The game stars Alma’s sons, Point Man and Paxton Fettel, who will pair up in some co-op action.

"After working closely with Monolith, Day 1 is honored to bring the next iteration of the F.E.A.R. franchise to gamers with key elements of the past games yet providing fresh combat and horror experiences in F.E.A.R. 3," said Denny Thorley, Founder and President, Day 1 Studios. "Players can look forward to new features such as divergent co-op, an evolved cover system, and more scares in F.E.A.R. 3."
