Ghost of Tsushima movie director Chad Stahelski has touched base on his adaptation of Sucker Punch Productions’ samurai title, saying that at the end of the day, he just wants to “do it right.”
Speaking with IGN on the red carpet for The Matrix Resurrections, Stahelski commented:
We just want to do it right. You know how video game adaptions can go. So we’re taking our time and doing it right. We’re working very closely with the game developers to make sure we stick to what’s great about it.
He went on to say that Ghost of Tsushima production crew is currently working on the script, but fans of the game “would be very happy with what we’re working on.” In addition, Stahelski added that playing through Ghost of Tsushima “many times” is what attracted him to adapting the game.
