Geoff Keighley has announced that The Game Awards has issued its Player’s Voice gong to Ghost of Tsushima.
The critically acclaimed action-adventure game from Sucker Punch Productions has also been nominated for a number of other awards, including Game of the Year, Best Game Direction, Best Narrative, Best Art Direction and Best Audio Design.
The Game Awards 2020 takes place on December 10 and will be streamed across various platforms including YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook Live.
Ghost of Tsushima was released for the PS4 back in July, and has sold over five million copies worldwide. The game is the first major release from Sucker Punch, who was snapped up by Sony in 2011, since inFAMOUS: Second Son in 2014.
Sucker Punch is reportedly staffing up for a new project, which sounds a hell of a lot like a sequel to Ghost of Tsushima. Watch this space.
