Sucker Punch Productions has offered further insight into the Ghost and Samurai modes for Ghost of Tsushima, revealing the game won’t lock you into either style during your playthrough.
Ghost Of Tsushima Gameplay Details
Speaking with IGN, Jason Connell explained that the style wielded by protagonist Jin are more dependent on story in terms of change, but you won’t be forced into one if it doesn’t necessarily tickle your fancy.
There’s definitely important story moments that are more reflective of this change than others. But the reality is that even as you have gotten to some story moments, you can still play the game as this Samurai, you may just be more potent or more powerful. We don’t make you choose between [samurai and ghost].
