Sucker Punch Production has stepped out of the shadows during Sony’s State of Play broadcast this evening to confirm the release date for Ghost of Yotei Legends, the co-op expansion that was initially revealed last August. It’s out on March 10, 2026. Furthermore, the developer has also shared more details and footage, which you can see below.
Ghost of Yotei Legends feature a supernatural setting unlike the more grounded environment players are used to in the base game, and will be available free to owners of Ghost of Yotei. This co-op expansion offers two-player story missions and four-player survival matches where you’ll select one of four character classes before trying to dispatch enlarged, demonic incarnations of the Yotei Six, plus other foes.
Sony published Ghost of Yotei exclusively for the PS5 in October 2025, and in just one month the game had sold over three million copies worldwide. Last week, Sony revealed during its latest financial results that Ghost of Yotei had exceeded sales of Ghost of Tsushima within the same timeframe, but didn’t divulge any updated sales figures.
