Following the announcement of the upcoming Ghostbusters videogame for every major console and handheld device, many gamers were left surprised at the omission of a PlayStation Portable version of the highly anticipated title.
However, this may be something that could eventually change as the game moves forward toward its release. According to Executive Producer Brendan Goss, "There are discussions right now about a PSP version, we’re waiting to see how the PS2 stuff goes from a technical side with memory, then it may get ported to the PSP."
A PS2 port of this game seems like a viable option especially since so many PS2 games have been ported to the PSP previously (and vice-versa). This version of Ghostbusters, much like the Wii game, will swap realistic visuals for cartoony visuals and feature a simpler narrative that of its PS3, PC and Xbox 360 counterpart.
It will also include an exclusive offline co-op mode where you can take on another player as either a ghost or a ghostbuster.
