Zen United and PQube have confirmed that PSP hack-em-up Gladiator Begins will be released in the U.K. on May 27, 2011.
Developed by GOSHOW, the game is currently available in demo form on PlayStation Network, though the full product has been out in Japan and North America since January and September of 2010, respectively.
GOSHOW’s confirmed that a slew of free DLC is in the pipeline, including fresh weapons, armour and characters.
For those out of the loop, Gladiator Begins serves as the follow-up to PlayStation 2 outing Colosseum: Road to Freedom, and has players battling it out in the arena with their custom-made combatant. Along the way, you’ll earn AP to increase various attributes including strength, endurance, and vitality.
