Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that preorders for God of War Laufey will kick off tomorrow, September 29, at 10.00am local time. In addition, the format holder also detailed the preorder bonuses and Digital Deluxe Edition for the highly anticipated title.
Those of you who preorder God of War Laufey will receive the Lash Wish Armor Set, Phranque Golden Leaves Appearance, and in-game resource pack. Meanwhile, the Digital Deluxe Edition adds:
- Dark Alchemy Armor Set*
- Dark Alchemy Blade*
- Dark Alchemy Bow Scales*
- Dark Alchemy Catalyst*
- In-Game Resource Pack
- Digital Mini Artbook
- Official God of War Laufey Digital Soundtrack
Elsewhere, Sony also revealed details on Faye’s Serpent Bow, which has the ability to tear through enemies in close proximity and long-range alike. Fully pressing down the aim trigger will offer players a more precise aim and increase draw distance, and by attacking specific points on the enemy’s body, you can stunt their movement for a follow-up melee attack. Faye can also charge up the bow and stack up to five arrows to unleash a powerful volley.
Faye can also use a hip-fire stance by having players perform a half-press of the aim trigger, where she can fire off a cluster of arrows to inflict major damage at closing range. The quick-fire also allows Faye to juggle airborne enemies and extend combos while swapping between weapons and abilities.
God of War Laufey launches February 16, 2027.
