The PlayStationGameSize Twitter account has revealed that the God of War Ragnarok preload date is locked for November 2, 2022, while the PS5 file size for the highly anticipated sequel is listed at 84GB for the US and 90-100GB for EU.
The news follows yesterday’s leak that the God of War Ragnarok PS4 download size is about 118GB, which is listed on PlayStationGameSize for the EU version of the game.

Sony Santa Monica Studio’s Cory Barlog recently admitted that God of War Ragnarok was split in two parts to form a Norse trilogy, although he ultimately decided to keep the project as a single release. The first in a behind-the-scenes video series, titled Shaping the Story, is available to view here.
God of War Ragnarok is scheduled for release on November 9, 2022 for PS5 & PS4. The game went gold just last week, which means it’s now in the process of mass manufacturing as production is complete.
The original God of War was released for the PS2 in 2005, and was followed by God of War II in 2007. Both games were later remastered for the PS3, which also received its own full-blown sequel, God of War III, in 2010.
Beyond that, we’ve also got the likes of God of War: Ascension for PS3, as well as the PSP titles God of War: Chains of Olympus and God of War: Ghost of Sparta. 2018’s God of War acted as a soft reboot for the PS4.
