Cory Barlog has responded to news that God of War Ragnarok is being sold early at some retailers, and he didn’t mince his words on social media, saying it’s “completely f***ing stupid” that stores have broken the street date.
A retailer selling the game nearly TWO WEEKS before release. Just so disappointing. Sorry to everyone that you have to dodge the spoilers if you want to play the game fresh. Completely fucking stupid you have to do this. This is not at all how any of us at SMS wanted things to go.
Meanwhile, Matt Sophos, God of War Ragnarok’s Narrative Director, told fans to stay away from social media and sites like Redidt and YouTube to avoid potential spoilers.
