Polyphony Digital has unleashed a new Gran Turismo 7 video that confirms Scapes will be making a comeback in the PS4 & PS5 racer, following their inclusion in Gran Turismo Sport.
If you’re not familiar with Scapes, the feature allows you to place Gran Turismo cars into a realistic setting, which gives you a chance to put your photography skills to the test. They do more than just look pretty; Polyphony Digital has added authentic lighting into the mix, making them look photo-realistic.
In this latest video, Polyphony Digital boss Kazunori Yamauchi confirmed that they will return in GT7, describing it as an “avant-grade” feature.

Gran Turismo 7 is scheduled for release on PS5 and PS4 on March 4, 2022. Earlier this week, Polyphony Digital revealed another behind-the-scenes video for GT7, spilling details on the new in-game Livery Editor.
