Polyphony Digital boss Kazunori Yamauchi has revealed that the upcoming Gran Turismo 7 PSVR 2 update will arrive alongside four new cars for the racing simulation title.
Posting on Twitter, Yamauchi-san teased the arrival of the new update, which includes the silhouettes of four new cards, which fans reckon is a Citroen DS, AAR Eagle/Honda RA272, and a Porsche. The other car remains a bit of a mystery right now.
GT7 takes full advantage of PSVR2’s next-gen features. Utilising specially optimised HDR tone mapping, as well as foveated rendering from the eye-tracking feature (a technology that renders areas of the screen that the player is directly looking at in high definition), and dynamic 3D audio support, players will experience a whole new dimension of highly immersive gameplay.
Gran Turismo 7 was originally released for PS4 & PS5 in March 2022, and you can read our full review here.
