Gran Turismo 7 Gran Turismo 7 Ray Tracing GT7 News Polyphony Digital PS4 PS5 Ray Tracing

Gran Turismo 7 Reportedly Has Ray-Tracing Mode For Actual Races, Not Just Replays

Polyphony Digital has implemented a ray-tracing mode for Gran Turimso 7 during races, despite previously saying that the feature would only be available during Replays.

However, according to a preview that has leaked on the web based on a recent press vent, GT7 ray-tracing is now available during races, too.

Of course, the technical part of the title is also important, since it is the first first party racing game that we will see for the PS5. So according to Kaz, the GT7 on the PS5 will have two display modes, one aimed at “the highest possible frame rate”, with a ceiling of 60 fps, and one with an improved display where Ray Tracing mode is activated for improved lighting, shading and, above all, reflections on the bodies of vehicles
