Grand Theft Auto 6 Leaker Has Been Deemed Psychiatrically Unfit For Trial

Arion Kurtaj, the 18-year-old who was responsible for the huge Grand Theft Auto 6 leak last September, has been deemed psychiatrically unfit to stand trial.

The teenager is a member of the notorious Lapsus$ hacking group and was accused of hacking Rockstar Games and threatening to leak the GTA 6 source code. After being accessed by psychiatrists however, Kurtaj was labelled unfit to stand trial for himself.

Last September, more than 90 videos and screenshots reportedly from the in-development GTA 6 were leaked online, leading to Kurtaj’s arrest and being charged days after the leak. It was later revealed that he pleaded not guilty to computer misuse, and was held in a youth detention centre.

The teenager was also linked to a number of other cyber attacks, including hacking Uber and Revolt, as well as blackmailing BT Group and EE, as well as hacking Nvidia Crop.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is currently in development for as-yet unconfirmed platforms, although Rockstar Games hasn’t announced a release date for the game.
