Rockstar has said that it is working on a fix for the visual issues affecting the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Grand Theft Auto V.
The critically acclaimed open-world adventure was hit by a noticeable visual downgrade upon the release of update 1.08. This included less detail in the game’s damage modelling, and lower parallax occlusion mapping on various surfaces, making them appear flatter than before.
However, Rockstar has now acknowledged the issue and appears to be on the case, according to a statement issued overnight.
"We are aware of some graphical issues on the Xbox One and PS4 versions of GTAV after the most recent Title Update, and we are investigating a fix now.
