A leaker has reportedly been posting gameplay videos of Grand Theft Auto VI online, resulting in Rockstar Games issuing DMCA takedowns after users began reposting them all over social media.
For obvious reasons, we are not posting nor linking to the alleged gameplay leaks.
In addition to the gameplay videos, one of which showcases one of the main protagonists, Jason, at his home partaking in a post of basketball, there’s also an image doing the rounds purportedly showcasing the full map. However, the footage itself isn’t from a recent build of GTA VI, with insider NateTheHate claiming it’s over a year old.
The leaks come just ahead of the Netflix showcase for GTA VI planned for next week, which promise an ‘extended look’ at Rockstar Games’ highly anticipated open-world title.
Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release on November 19, 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Recently, Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick stated that the Ultimate Edition of GTA VI is actually outpacing the standard version of the game in terms of preorders, and made it clear that the publisher doesn’t have any problems with a digital-only future.
As previously reported, GTA VI is only going to be available as a digital title for launch; if you buy the boxed version of the game, it only come with a download code, not an actual disc.
