Spiders and Nacon have staple-gunned a March 12, 2026 release date to GreedFall 2: The Dying World on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, at which point the game leaves Early Access.
GreedFall 2: The World Dying has been in Early Access for PC since September 24, 2024, and kicks off its narrative three years before the events of the first game. The sequel sees players following a native of Teer Fradee, which has been uprooted from their home island and taken to the colony on Gacane. Ravaged by war and the deadly Malichor plague, the continent finds itself the midst of political scheming brought on by numerous quarrying factions.

As such, you work to regain your freedom and control your own destiny by using diplomacy, cunning, or brute force, as well as calling on allies to help end one man’s ambitious goal of conquest, which threatens the future of not only the continent, but your home island too.
GreedFall 2: The Dying World allows you to explore new landscapes, including Olima, the shores of Uxantis, and more, where you’ll encounter multiple factions and must navigate the “treacherous waters of their schemes and conspiracies.” Players can create their own character and bring allies to your cause, aiding them in quests and uncovering their secrets to secure friendships and controlling them in combat.
