Green Hell Is Coming To PS5 ‘Soon’ Alongside All 19 Content Updates

Creepy Jar has revealed on Twitter that it is beavering away on a PS5 and Xbox Series X/S version of Green Hell, which will arrive on those platforms alongside all 19 content updates for the game.

While a concrete release date has yet to be announced, Creepy Jar did say that Green Hell will hit Sony and Microsoft’s consoles soon. However, regarding multiplayer, PS4 players will not be able to team up with PS5 owners of the game.

That’s right! We’re actively working on bringing Green Hell alongside all 19 content updates, including the just announced “Flamekeeper” update, over to PlayStation 5 & Xbox Series X|S.

As we want to truly focus on bringing the best version of Green Hell to the platforms, we won’t be continuing development on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game. However, all owners of the previous-gen version of Green Hell for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will receive a free upgrade to the current-gen version of the game when it launches later this year.

Green Hell originally launched for the PC in September 2019 and hit PS4 and Xbox One in June 2021. The game takes the form of a survival romp set in the Amazon rainforest, where players are able to explore an open world while attempting to survive by crafting a shelter, weapons, and collecting raw materials and food.
