Milky Tea Studios has announced on the PlayStation Blog that real-time tactics roguelite Grit and Valor – 1949, is coming to PS5 with full PSVR 2 support on August 21, 2025.
Grit and Valor – 1949 takes place in an alternate World War II where Europe is on the brink of defeat as Axis forces have brought its enemies to their knees, with players standing as the final hope for humanity. Players follow the Commander of an elite Mech Squadron as they engage in epic battles in an effort to liberate Europe and free the globe from the grip of Axis forces.

Using PSVR 2, Grit and Valor – 1949 allows you to fully immerse yourself in the perspective of different roles and characters, with the game’s visuals plucking inspiration from tabletop war games. Furthermore, the PSVR 2 Sense Controller allows for greater precision similar to a mouse, but is complemented by additional tactility that you would see in real-life.
In addition, the PSVR 2 version offers a full campaign that builds on the core PS5 version, with a host of missions available to player as they attempt to liberate Europe — it’s game over if your Command Vehicle bites the dust, though. Player will have access to both the PS5 and PSVR 2 versions by purchasing the game, offering the campaign across PS5, PSVR 2 and PS Portal.
