GTA 5 On PS5 To Get Physical Release On April 12

Rockstar Games has announced that Grand Theft Auto 5 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S will be given a physical release for those who prefer picking up the game on disc.

The physical version of the game is available for preorder on the Rockstar Store now and will also be available at select retailers.

There’s nothing else new here; it’s basically GTA 5 for PS5 on disc, nothing more. Still, if you’re an old git like me and prefer your games being stacked on a shelf rather than a digital library, then this should be just the ticket.

GTA 5 was released on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on March 15, 2022, and comes with a number of performance improvements, including multiple graphics settings that prioritise frame rate or resolution. GTA Online is also available for Sony and Microsoft’s new consoles, and you can transfer progress across from your PS4 account.

Rockstar launched GTA 5 for PS3 and Xbox 360 in September 2013, with GTA Online arriving one month later.
