Take-Two and Rockstar have said that actress Lindsay Lohan sued the Grand Theft Auto V developer for the sake of publicity.
Lohan filed a lawsuit against the video game maker earlier this summer, alleging that the GTA V character Lacey Jonas ripped off her likeness and parodied various events of her life during in-game missions.
However, both companies have dismissed the case, suggesting that Lohan’s accusations are based on “publicity purposes.”
Court papers reveal that Rockstar is eager to have the case thrown out the window, and have the Mean Girls star pay all necessary legal fees.
Representatives for Lohan have yet to comment.
GTA V is due out on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One later this year.
