Guilty Gear Strive Could Receive New Beta In Wake Of Delay

Following news that the Guilty Gear Strive release date has been delayed to June, it has been suggested that developer Arc System Works may tide people over with another beta.

Speaking during the New Game+ Expo, the studio revealed that it is considering another beta test with improvements plucked from what the studio wants in the final version of the game. In case you missed it, here’s the announcement regarding the delay:

Since we have received valuable feedback after the recent open beta test, we would like to make the most of this opportunity to provide the best game possible.

We need extra time to polish some aspects of the game, such as the online lobbies and the server’s stability. We believe it best to use the extra time to improve the game’s quality and provide a better experience to all our players. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

The previous Guilty Gear Strive beta took place in late February, and you can read our impressions of the taster here. Guilty Gear Strive will now launch for PS5, PS4 and PC on June 11.
