Developer Harmonix has sent optimistic shockwaves throughout the gaming industry by conducting a survey which is aimed at gauging the levels of interest for a next-generation iteration of its famed ‘Rock Band’ series.
The survey, which can be found here, poses a series of questions relative to gamers’ history with the series on past consoles as well as hinting at the potential direction developer Harmonix could be going in. It seems as though that instruments from previous-generation consoles could well work on newer systems, and that Harmonix could be inclined to ship the game by itself, or with just one-or-two instruments.
There’s also questions relating to pre-order incentives coupled with a charter where you can place levels of importance on certain factors pertaining to the game.
It doesn’t seem as though this will be the last time we hear of a potential Rock Band on this generation of consoles – and that’s certainly not a bad thing.
