Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X announced for PlayStation 4 and Vita

Sega today unveiled Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X for the PlayStation 4 and Vita.

The PS Vita version will launch first in March 2016 with the PS4 version coming in fall 2016 in Japan.

No western release has been confirmed at this time. A western localization is likely given that Sega brought over the last two Project DIVA games for PlayStation 3 and Vita and are releasing the 3DS spin-off Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX on September 8.

Past reports and comments from Sega show the rhythm game franchise has been selling decently well outside Japan.

A teaser site has been setup and a trailer commemorating the 8th anniversary of Hatsune Miku (her first Vocaloid voice synthesizer released August 31, 2007) features the first footage of Project DIVA X.
