Sega today announced Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X will be release physically and digitally in the Americas this fall for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita.
Announced last year, Project DIVA X is the latest entry in the Hatsune Miku rhythm game series and the PS Vita version just released a week ago in Japan on March 24. Players will be able to jam along to a total of 30 songs in X.
A major edition in the game is Live Quest Mode, a narrative campaign following Miku and her Vocaloid friends as they take on and complete quests. Along the way, they explore Clouds, which construct their world. Clouds come in one of five auras, Classic, Cool, Cute, Elegant, and Quirky, and the modules (costumes) and accessories worn by Miku and her buddies all correspond to one of these auras.
Additionally, you get to interact with Miku and see the Digital Dive and her friends to develop their relationships as the game progresses.

Digital Singers Take Over the Living Room – Produce live concerts accessorized to the max with unlockable costumes, songs, and stages to create custom live concert starring Hatsune Miku and her friends!
30 Miku Tracks – An assortment of new and classic Hatsune Miku music will be yours to jam to! The songs are split into auras and have different difficulties and challenges to complete. Project DIVA X includes new arrangements and medleys by beloved artists as well.
Cloud Requests – Go to five different Clouds with Miku and her friends, and explore them and the challenges within. But naturally, selecting the right modules and accessories are key to fulfilling the requests. There’s also Free Play, which offers the traditional experience for Project DIVA games.
Interact with Miku and Her Friends – Things start to get very meta for the digital singer as she and her friends discover what it’s like to live in the world of Project DIVA X – players can interact with the characters.
No word yet on an European release, but we anticipate one to be announced soon.
