Haven Studios’ Fairgames Suffers Setback As Game Director Daniel Drapeau Exits

Daniel Drapeau, Game Director at Haven Studios, has departed the studio after more than four years working on the studio’s debut project, Fairgames.

As confirmed by his LinkedIn profile, Drapeau is now working at WB Games Montreal as a creative director, although his departure from Haven Studios wasn’t announced prior to his exit. This is the second major departure that Haven Studios has suffered this year alone, as founder Jade Raymond reportedly left the company earlier this year.

Haven Studios was established by Raymond back in 2021 and the following year was acquired by Sony Interactive Entertainment, thus bringing it under the PlayStation Studios banner. One of the co-founders of Haven Studios, Sebastian Puel, departed the studio just 10 months after its formation.

Drapeau has worked on a number of major titles prior to serving at Haven Studios, including Shadow of the Tomb Raider (Gameplay Director), Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege (Team Lead Game Design), and Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist (Game Designers).
