Developer Hazelight Studios has announced it has sold 50 million games worldwide, with 30 million of those units attributed to It Takes Two. Split Fiction has sold seven million units worldwide, while A Way Out stands at 13 million units shifted.

Back in February, Hazelight Studios founder Josef Fares confirmed that the studio was working on its next project, sharing an image of himself in a motion capture outfit with three actors stood behind him. “Next game in the making,” the outspoken developer commented. Split Fiction is the company’s latest game, which launched in March 2025; a movie adaptation is currently in the pipeline with Sydney Sweeney set to appear.
