A recent GameTrailers video preview of Quantic Dreams’ Heavy Rain has suggested that the PlayStation 3 exclusive thriller will not be released until 2010.
Speaking at the climax of the show (roughly 19 minutes in), presenter Geoff Keighley said that the title "is going to be coming out next year exclusively for the PlayStation 3.”
Sony was quick to point out that the firm never pinned down a firm release date for the game, though we’ve been lead to believe a 2009 has been on the cards for some time now. Speaking following the game’s announcement at Leipzig last year, then Sony Europe boss David Reeves said that the game was "the great game for PlayStation 3 next year".
Hopefully the situation will be cleared up in time for the game’s eagerly anticipated showing at E3 next week. Stay tuned.
