Arrowhead Games has put the spotlight on some fresh Helldivers 2 gameplay footage, which looks at the Galactic War, where multiple regions on Super Earth are under attack from creatures looking to wipe out humanity.
Fortunately, the war table on your ship allows you to not only watch the action unfold, but also take part in battles throughout the universe. After selecting a planet at the war table, you will be given an operation to take part in, which feature up to three missions with a variety of primary objectives. These can include anything from wiping out bug infestations, eliminating supplies, and obtaining valuable data.
Embark on a range of different missions, from taking down high value targets or launching missiles to strike the heart of enemy strongholds. While fighting on the frontlines, keep your eyes open for potential resources and intel to bring back to Super Earth researchers. Your progress contributes to the overall war effort, and brings you closer to liberating that sector of the galaxy.
