Hidden Bloodborne enemy turns up after nearly 3 years

An enemy in Bloodborne believed to have been given the chop from the final product has turned up in-game after nearly three years.

The flaming Undead Giant was originally spotted during creator Hidetaka Miyazaki’s demo of Bloodborne at PSX 2014, where he appeared in one of the randomised Challice Dungeons.

However, the lumbering beast has failed to turn up in anyone’s game since, prompting many to believe developer From Software had left him on the cutting room floor.

This isn’t the case at all though, as the flaming Undead Giant has finally been spotted by a Reddit group specialising in Chalice Dungeon exploration.

In addition, user MorsoNyx also reported the discovery of the long-hidden enemy, and noted that the he may have been found earlier but simply wasn’t reported. “Many hunters may seem something odd and then just dismiss it because they thought it was normal,” he says.

This will have significant impact on the communities perception on what could still possibly be hidden in the depths of the Tombs beneath Yharnam, so light your torch, and keep hunting!

The flaming Undead Giant is but one variation of these hulking enemies, and far from the only rare foe to be found in Bloodborne. Have you been lucky enough to come across him yet?

Bloodborne was released exclusively for the PlayStation 4 and is seen as something of a spiritual successor to Dark Souls. If you haven’t already got your mitts on the epic dungeon crawler, then be sure to grab the Game of the Year Edition.

Earlier this year Bloodborne 2 rumors started heating up, although despite chatter of an E3 2017 reveal, nothing ever materialised.
