Those of you looking forward to unlocking another shiny new Platinum Trophy for your collection in Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes are in for a disappointment — the game doesn’t have one.
Before you get the pitchforks out however, series creator Hideo Kojima stressed on Twitter that the decision wasn’t down to him.
The reason GZ doesn’t have Platinum Trophy in PS4 is due to SONY’s regulation. They won’t allow us to have them for non-full price game.

Ground Zeroes takes place in an open world environment, where gamers – playing as legendary mercenary Big Boss – must infiltrate a prison complex and rescue two prisoners. How you go about that is entirely up to you, however.
