Metal Gear Solid mastermind Hideo Kojima has told an unnamed Japanese publication that he’s stewing over whether or not he should create a new title in the stealth-action franchise or something entirely different.
According to the magazine, Kojima said that he’s keen to incorporate various things in the game that he was unable to do in the recently released Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.
Apparently the design document for the game is done, and it’ll cover the “taboo” subject Kojima has discussed in past months. Quizzed on how long development would last, he replied: “If I get moving, quick.”
Peace Walker was originally going to be the next numbered entry in the series, though the ‘5’ part of the title was dropped shortly before its unveiling at E3 last year.
