Death Stranding 2: On the Beach was notably absent during PlayStation’s latest State Of Play showcase. It’s supposed to be coming out this year, and Hideo Kojima has even stated before that he knows the release date, he just can’t share it yet.
Well, even though the release date didn’t appear at the State Of Play, it looks like we won’t have to wait too much longer to find out when to expect Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.
That’s because Hideo Kojima will be one of the featured speakers during SXSW 2025, where its been confirmed that he’ll also share new details about the coming game, and we can only hope that one of those details will be a release date.
Sony just recently reiterated that Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will definitely arrive this year, so at least we can put any fears of it being delayed out of 2025 to rest.
