Guerrilla Games has taken to Twitter to post a snapshot of a massive Horizon: Zero Dawn poster slapped on the side of a building in Los Angeles.
The striking image features a menacing-looking robotic behemoth known as the Thunderjaw, which is one of the many foes you’ll encounter in the post-apocalyptic action-RPG. The poster is accompanied by the caption, ‘Earth is ours no more.’
Horizon: Zero Dawn is in development exclusively for the PlayStation 4 and is set to release at some point in 2016. However, rumors earlier this year suggested the game has been pushed into 2017, though Sony has yet to comment on the matter.
Horizon is the first new IP from Guerrilla Games since it launched Killzone for the PlayStation 2 back in 2004. The game sees players taking control of a seasoned hunter named Aloy, who must venture out into the wilderness to hunt down mechanical beasts and salvage their parts to survive.
The game is surely going to be heavily featured at E3 2016 next month, so stay tuned to PSU for more details as we get them.
