We learned earlier this week that Dead Nation and Resogun developer Housemarque has a major announcement planned for Gamescom 2014, and today we have a few clues about what to expect.

The latest teaser derives from a new short video that has launched on Housemarque’s YouTube page, which suggests that its new announcement may be a space-themed game that involves aliens.Housemarque described the annoucement as "out of this world."

The Finnish independent developer is also known for its popular space-shooter game, Super Stardust. Resogun, released as a launch title on PS4, was said to the spiritual-successor to Super Stardust, but wouldn’t it be great if Housemarque is planning a fully-fledged sequel to the game that was described as the purists’ shooter?

Check out our predictions for Sony at Gamescom this week and don’t forget to tune into the PlayStation press conference live on Tuesday, 12 August, 2014.
