Saros, the highly anticipated next project from Returnal developer Housemarque, has received a brand new trailer during The Game Awards 2025 this evening, offering a detailed look at the PS5-exclusive in action. We also have a release date: April 30, 2026.

Saros is set on the planet Carcosa, and follows Arjun Devraj, a Solitary Enforcer investigating a lost off-world colony. The game takes place from a third-person view and give players the chance to permanently upgrade their load out thanks to a persistence resource and progression system, even after the character’s death. One of the main items is the Soltari Shield, which allows you to block attacks and absorb projectile energy; you can then transform this energy into Devraj’s right arm to transform it into the Carcosan Power Weapon and blast enemies with it.
Sony Interactive Entertainment will publish Saros on April 30, 2026.
