Neil Patrick Harris will join an exclusive club Saturday night. Spike today revealed that the star of Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog (bet you thought we’d mention his primetime show) will host this weekend’s Video Game Awards. That’s right; a grown up Doogie Howser is set to lead Saturday night’s festivities, and with an event that is expected to have tons of premieres, we are also graced by an extraordinarily talented man.
Harris will be on a small list of celebrities that hosted VGAs, which includes Snoop Dog, Samuel L. Jackson, and Jack Black. As Spike pays tribute to the best games of 2010, Harris will be joined by Chris Hemsworth, star of Thor, cast members of It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia (including Danny Devito), and director Guillermo Del Toro, to name a few. My Chemical Romance is slated to perform as well, so get your eyeliner ready.
Watch it yourself this Saturday at 8 p.m. Eastern on Spike.
